I'd heard of this type of medication, but had not actually seen any sites about pills that reduce your fat absorption so that when you eat, you can still eat fat but not gain as much weight from it. Alli looks like a better alternative than starving yourself or eating icky food you don't want, so you can still keep some of the simple pleasures in your life. You take it with your meals that contain fat, and although it doesn't give major weight loss, it helps as a supplement. An average of 6 pounds may not seem like much to some, but for those of us who are diabetic or have other issues which weight only worsens or can even cause. It's especially useful when you have conditions which conflict with taking anything that raises your heart rate or any amphetamine-like diet medications that are common today.

Losing Weight
I've been using an energy drink as a diet pill because I haven't found the right one yet, one which won't heighten my anxiety, make me paranoid, or twitchy, and that won't interact with my medications and disorders, but at least it's getting easier to find out details and get prices in case I decide to experiment. It's especially nice when there are in depth descriptions, and ratings beside the prices so you can quickly narrow down the ones you want to, and exclude others based on price, effects, or non-effectiveness based on user reviews.

Appetite Suppressant
I can't take most diet pills, because I get really jumpy and weird, and that's just normal me before my tranquilizers each day. You'd really hate to see me without those, let alone on something that aggregates the problem, but Fenphedra has an NPY inhibitor. NeuroPeptide Y is associated with the ill effects felt from nervousness and anxiety, but Fenphedra uses an herb from the cannabis family to nullify those effects so that the pill can be used by people with disorders such as mine, post traumatic stress disorder, or just by people who don't wish to get too hyper to focus. Interesting~

Staying current...
My dad just got this sweet new truck with MP3 and backseats and everything, but my parents are so traditional. They're of the dying breed who still write checks and use phones instead of internet and texting, despite me trying to persuade them to at least check out online car insurance, since it's easy and fast. Pretty sure they're overpaying, but they only use the computer for e-mail. o_O Sorry, can't understand that mindset, since I do all of my bills and shopping online, and simply fall apart when even my mobile connection dies on my phone, let alone the home network (at least I can go fleeing to the nearest wireless spot in that circumstance). Maybe it's just me, but I can multitask and communicate with way more people using texting instead of being stuck on the phone for something trivial that distracts me from work, and shopping online has opened a whole new world for me. Things I can't find here, or that are hard to get, or expensive. Just a random thought for you all, since you're tech-savvy enough to be reading my pages. ~^

Current Trends
With all the pressure to be thin, more people are turning to diet pills and other methods of improving the way they look and their self esteem. It's best not to just pick these medicines at random, because of various effects - you definitely want to read a lot of reviews and see what might work best for you. It also helps when the review site has both the retail price and the best internet price for the one you choose, and when they've had years of experience. Don't just grab something off the counter - do your research first if you're considering one of these supplements!

Yummy~
Every kid, including my son, would love to have one of these: popcorn machines. [ Giggles at memories. ] Every time I see the word popcorn, movies and fairs only come second to my mind. What comes first is what happened at this hacker and technology convention, where they spent hours popping enough popcorn to fill a whole room and hallway. It was awesome! I really should post those pictures, and I have to take Gryphon to the movies this weekend. Now I wish I could relive that... swimming in popcorn. Not many people get to say they've done that.
Kitchen Faucets
My parents recently got some kitchen faucets on a sink that doesn't even work! I'm sorry, it just cracks me up. They're so pretty, but how am I supposed to use them when the sink isn't hooked to water? I do love accessorizing and decorating rooms and all the functional equipment though. I'm one of those people who can spend hours roaming a hardware store, just dreaming away, and leaving with a random assortment of knobs and resin, wood planks, and dremel bits for whatever strange thing I'm constructing in my room. Nice assortment... I think I'd like to attach them to paintings on the wall just to confuse people and see how many visitors try to touch or use them. ^_^

Nostalgia
In this age of war, controversy, terrorism, and all around fear, one has to admit to missing the days of dollhouses. I still have one that is very special to me, and I'm not wanting to get rid of it despite what it is worth - an antique Smurf village where you can put the characters in small round places and depending on where and who it is, different things are said. I'm a huge fan of toys in general, owning several retro ones and all the cutting edge ones. Who says you need to grow up? Being an adult is overrated. I still want a hoverboard, though...
What my dad needed -
when his Ford was wrecked, was a good truck accident lawyer so that he wouldn't have been completely ripped off. Well, he traded that truck in, getting less for it than it was worth, for a new one, but since most of us can't afford a lawyer and even more can't qualify for legal aid (which I suppose I'm going to have to ask for during my current legal case), it's best to know an affordable specialist when something goes wrong, or you're in an accident. Doesn't hurt to bookmark them just in case, since accidents happen, and it's hard to search afterwards when you're dealing with the other repercussions.
Sick of your job?
Most people are, unless they earned degrees and managed to get into the field that they really adore, since the majority of people work in repetitive, non-challenging, uncreative, and just tedious jobs for the money, rather than the passion. I'm lucky enough to work from home, though I don't make much, but for those of you who don't have the opportunity, you may have thought about purchasing a small business franchise so that you can be your own boss. There are a wide variety of these, and if you have the capital, it can be an easier way to control your work than trying to be an entrepreneur in a highly competitive world. So maybe you've thought about it, but have you actually checked it out?

Yes, it's weird, but...
One of my pet peeves is having those cheap tweezers, you know the kind I mean? The ones that only work if you actually manage to grasp the object on precisely the 1/36 of the actual surface that is supposed to connect with the full 36/36? It just drives me insane, since I actually do use tweezers for all sorts of things as an artist and as someone who randomly decides to get rid of her eyebrows at times. So, figuring that buying the 88 cent ones over and over at the giant chain store here is just going to add up and get more expensive, I found out about Rubis products. They've won many international awards, and don't have just tweezers, but razors and many other grooming products.
My field
For those of you who don't know, I've been working in information technology, web design, and programming for years, in addition to working in some labs and hospitals. So I'm well aware of how difficult it can be to search for IT jobs when you're just starting out. Right now, a lot of people who were in this field are retiring, so the demand is going back up, despite the benefits and pay going down for a while. There is going to be a shortage, so right now, finishing a degree in Computer Science, if you have the talent and passion, is a good move. When you're looking for a degree program, check out the job listings and requirements for what you want to do first, so that you know if you'll be learning those particular skills with your school.
Promoting your company
is easier with promotional products including the ones on this site, which has a lot to choose from. I've used pens in the past, but they have some very creative ways of promoting your product or site. If you're in accounting, what about personalized calculators? If you're in education, what about bags for school supplies? In sports or recreation? Then water bottles would be great for you. Teen-friendly? Check out the jewelry, including the rubber wristbands, or if you work with media, perhaps cd holders from the electronics category. There are so many items on this site, you'll be browsing for a while.

One of my favorite office supplies...
is personalized pens. These are just so useful, and people don't throw away pens since they're always needed. They also tend to switch hands a lot, or can be given away as school supplies or promos, so I've always loved them. I used to own a different company that gave these out and plan to start handing out some with my new company site on them at conventions soon, but as far as free promotional items, you really can't go wrong with these. Great for web sites because most people I know have post it notes and such beside their computer, along with a writing utensil, so they'll end up seeing the web address over and over, reminding them to check it out. They're really cheap when you buy them in bulk, and much better than handing out a business card... Also, if you do something which requires filling out forms or you meet people and there's going to often be a situation in which you'll need to offer them something to write with, even if you're using it personally, it's a nice, professional touch.
Summer and Good Times
Looking at Vegas vacations, or vacations in general? Having been, it's a doozy of a city, but we didn't think to get any information beforehand or discounts. We could have saved a whole lot and gotten to do a lot more things if we had planned better, but still, such good memories. All those lights, a city that never sleeps (just like me), and you can find anything you want from circus acts to music, to strange food, within blocks of your hotel and not even have to ask the closing or opening time! Just my type of place, really. I'm a major city girl, and don't understand living in a small town or even a pretty medium sized one where things close at midnight or god help me, 9 pm.
Gaming
Well, my PS2 has had some errors since I modified it, so I joined a website that lets you earn points towards winning a PS3. Have no idea if that will pan out or not, but I do love Playstation games, and so does my son, and right now we only have a Nintendo Wii and DS, since we sold our XBox. I've seen the graphics, and played a demo version of the Playstation 3, and they're just beautiful, though. Definitely on my Christmas list.
Being a teenager is rough
and most parents or students are always looking for the best acne treatment so that they can fit in and be secure about their looks. Having a niece who is absolutely beautiful, I know she would be horrified if her skin wasn't perfect. But how to choose, when the market is flooded with so many types? This site helps a lot, with detailed reviews on safety, how well it works, value and quality, the company information, and customer feedback for more products than I knew existed. They also include the retail pricing and the lowest online price, with links. Wish I'd known about this when I was younger before I tried the new hot one that gave me a horrible burning rash and made me cry for two weeks.

My mother would love this for Christmas.
At least one paella pan or even a whole set. Lovely cookware from Spain, to recreate that authentic flavor and look - Nice to look at and cooks better than the cheap stuff you can buy at your local market, or at least that's what I've heard, considering I don't cook. My mother does... She's a Food Network fanatic, and there are things that are great even for those who aren't the chef, or that can round out a nice gift set - copper cataplanas (for the cook), handpainted ceramic tableware along with terra cotta cookware. There are kits, and cookbooks, but I'd have to find out what recipes she's looking for, although we do cook a lot of Spanish food here. Partial to cooking Japanese myself, when I do actually cook, which is very rare.
